Visit

One of the most fun ways to get involved is visiting! Our animals love visitors! Animals benefit from having people love them and the best way for that to happen is to come and spend time with them! Admission and parking are always FREE. If you want to give, we always appreciate having you come with a Wish List Item or dropping a few bucks in the onsite donation bucket on your way out.

For your convenience we have a public restroom and snack bar on site. We invite you stop by our General Store where you can purchase gifts, T-shirts, and food for the animals. Refer to Location and Hours for more information on visiting hours and directions.

If you cannot join us in person, you can still connect and share Funny Farm love by joining us on Facebook Live each Sunday at 10am EST.

VISITING INFORMATION / RULES

We have some simple rules to ensure your safety and the safety of our volunteers and animals during your visit.
DRIVE VERY SLOWLY

Drive through the sanctuary at all times with caution at a VERY SLOW speed. We have all kinds of animals, from slow walking recovering injured rescues to fast running ones who will dart into your path at a moment’s notice. The speed limit is 1 mph on all roads inside the Funny Farm and 25 mph outside the Funny Farm on Railroad Blvd. For the safety of the animals, speed limits are strictly enforced. Many wild birds and the occasional bull are known to roam the streets outside the farm so please use extreme caution everywhere you go on or near the Funny Farm property.

NO SMOKING OR VAPING
The Funny Farm is a NO SMOKING-NO VAPING zone. Smoking must be done outside of our front gates with the butts disposed of in the proper container.
COMPLETE A WAIVER

All visitors, including children, must complete a waiver as a condition of entering the grounds of the Funny Farm. Parents need to sign for each child under 18 years of age. If you have already completed and signed a waiver electronically, you do not need to complete again. For your convenience the waiver is available online and can be completed prior to your visit. Complete Your Online Waiver Here. No worries if you cannot complete the Waiver ahead of time, we have QR codes located onsite.

DON’T FEED ANIMALS WITH YOUR OWN FOOD

NO outside food can be fed to animals. If you want to feed the animals, you can purchase an animal feed bucket in our General Store for $4.00. We always welcome your donations of apples, carrots and other animal food. If you have a donation, please bring it to the General Store to exchange for a prepared and approved animal feed bucket.

BE RESPECTFUL OF THE ANIMALS
The farm is home to a diverse set of farm animals; some are roaming free on the property. Please show respect and care when interacting with animals.
DRESS APPROPRIATELY

We recommend that you wear closed toe shoes. It’s a farm so there may be mud, muck or the occasional chicken that likes your toes.

PARK IN DESIGNATED AREAS
Free Parking is available at your own risk. Follow the signs to park in designated parking areas only.
